SKUU × Returnista integration

The SKUU Returnista integration routes returns of network orders started in a shop's Returnista portal back to the partner that shipped them, while exchanges and store credit keep working as usual.

SKUU sits in the middle as the neutral layer. Returnista only ever exchanges data with SKUU, never directly with another shop.

Returnista is an Amsterdam-based returns management platform: a self-service return portal, exchanges and store credit, return rules, and warranty and claims handling in one place. Shops keep that portal when they join the SKUU network, so a return of a network order looks exactly like any other return to the customer.

SKUU adds the part Returnista cannot see on its own: which partner shop actually shipped the item. The parcel and return data route back to that partner, an exchange can be fulfilled from stock anywhere in the network, and the refund is settled between the shops in the next settlement cycle. Available on request.

How connecting works

  1. 1

    Connect

Returnista links to SKUU through the native connector or the SKUU Connect REST API. Nothing about your storefront, checkout or daily workflow changes.

  2. 2

    Match

Your catalogue is matched against the network on barcode and article code, and verified in a test mode before anything goes live.

  3. 3

    Route

From then on, out-of-stock sales can route to partners with stock, and partner sales can route to you. Every parcel ships white-label under the selling shop's brand.

Frequently asked questions

How do returns of network orders work with Returnista?
The customer starts the return in the selling shop's Returnista portal, in that shop's branding, exactly like any other return. SKUU knows which partner shipped the item and routes the parcel and the return data back there, so the stock lands where it came from.
Who refunds the customer?
The selling shop, the way it always does through Returnista. SKUU settles the return with the fulfilling partner automatically in the next settlement cycle, so nobody has to chase money between shops.
Does SKUU replace Returnista?
No. Returnista stays the customer-facing returns portal with your rules, reasons and refund options. SKUU only adds the network layer underneath: routing returns to the right partner and keeping both partners' stock and administration correct.

Connect your stack.

Joining the network is configuration, not a project. Connect your systems, verify the matching, and let the network start recovering sales.
