SKUU × parcelLab integration

The SKUU parcelLab integration connects the post-purchase and returns platform to the SKUU network, so larger retailers keep their parcelLab return flows for network orders too.

How the connection sits

parcelLab

Partner shops

SKUU sits in the middle as the neutral layer. parcelLab only ever exchanges data with SKUU, never directly with another shop.

parcelLab runs post-purchase communication and returns for larger European retailers: branded tracking pages, notifications and a returns portal. Retailers on parcelLab have customer journeys they have tuned carefully, and network orders should not break them.

SKUU feeds parcelLab the shipment data of network orders and receives the returns back, routing each parcel to the partner that fulfilled it. The customer sees the selling retailer's brand from checkout to refund. Available on request.

How connecting works

  1. 1

    Connect

parcelLab links to SKUU through the native connector or the SKUU Connect REST API. Nothing about your storefront, checkout or daily workflow changes.

  2. 2

    Match

Your catalogue is matched against the network on barcode and article code, and verified in a test mode before anything goes live.

  3. 3

    Route

From then on, out-of-stock sales can route to partners with stock, and partner sales can route to you. Every parcel ships white-label under the selling shop's brand.

Frequently asked questions

How do returns of network orders work with parcelLab?
The customer starts the return in the selling shop's parcelLab portal, in that shop's branding, exactly like any other return. SKUU knows which partner shipped the item and routes the parcel and the return data back there, so the stock lands where it came from.
Who refunds the customer?
The selling shop, the way it always does through parcelLab. SKUU settles the return with the fulfilling partner automatically in the next settlement cycle, so nobody has to chase money between shops.
Does SKUU replace parcelLab?
No. parcelLab stays the customer-facing returns portal with your rules, reasons and refund options. SKUU only adds the network layer underneath: routing returns to the right partner and keeping both partners' stock and administration correct.

Connect your stack.

Joining the network is configuration, not a project. Connect your systems, verify the matching, and let the network start recovering sales.
