SKUU × Loop Returns integration

ReturnsAlso calledLoop

The SKUU Loop Returns integration lets shops on Loop handle returns and exchanges of network orders in their own Loop portal, while SKUU routes each parcel back to the right partner.

How the connection sits

SKUU sits in the middle as the neutral layer. Loop Returns only ever exchanges data with SKUU, never directly with another shop.

Loop is a returns platform built around exchanges: it nudges customers toward a different size, colour or store credit instead of a refund. That fits the SKUU network well, because an exchange is a new sale the network can fulfil from partner stock when the shop's own shelf is empty.

For network orders, the return starts in the selling shop's Loop portal as usual. SKUU routes the original item back to the partner that shipped it and, for exchanges, finds stock for the replacement across the network. Available on request.

How connecting works

  1. 1

    Connect

Loop Returns links to SKUU through the native connector or the SKUU Connect REST API. Nothing about your storefront, checkout or daily workflow changes.

  2. 2

    Match

Your catalogue is matched against the network on barcode and article code, and verified in a test mode before anything goes live.

  3. 3

    Route

From then on, out-of-stock sales can route to partners with stock, and partner sales can route to you. Every parcel ships white-label under the selling shop's brand.

Frequently asked questions

How do returns of network orders work with Loop Returns?
The customer starts the return in the selling shop's Loop Returns portal, in that shop's branding, exactly like any other return. SKUU knows which partner shipped the item and routes the parcel and the return data back there, so the stock lands where it came from.
Who refunds the customer?
The selling shop, the way it always does through Loop Returns. SKUU settles the return with the fulfilling partner automatically in the next settlement cycle, so nobody has to chase money between shops.
Does SKUU replace Loop Returns?
No. Loop Returns stays the customer-facing returns portal with your rules, reasons and refund options. SKUU only adds the network layer underneath: routing returns to the right partner and keeping both partners' stock and administration correct.

Connect your stack.

Joining the network is configuration, not a project. Connect your systems, verify the matching, and let the network start recovering sales.
