SKUU × PostNL integration

The SKUU PostNL integration ships network orders through the Netherlands' main parcel carrier with white-label labels and tracking, so cross-shop parcels arrive like any other order.

How the connection sits

PostNL
SKUUSKUU
Partner shops

SKUU sits in the middle as the neutral layer. PostNL only ever exchanges data with SKUU, never directly with another shop.

PostNL delivers the majority of Dutch e-commerce parcels, so most network orders in the Netherlands will physically travel through its network. SKUU integrates with PostNL label and tracking APIs, directly or through the fulfilling shop's shipping platform, to keep those parcels strictly white-label.

The customer sees the selling shop's name on the label and gets PostNL tracking through the selling shop's communication. Delivery speed follows from routing: SKUU prefers partners whose location and cut-off times get the parcel there fastest. Available on request.

How connecting works

  1. 1

    Connect

PostNL links to SKUU through the native connector or the SKUU Connect REST API. Nothing about your storefront, checkout or daily workflow changes.

  2. 2

    Match

Your catalogue is matched against the network on barcode and article code, and verified in a test mode before anything goes live.

  3. 3

    Route

From then on, out-of-stock sales can route to partners with stock, and partner sales can route to you. Every parcel ships white-label under the selling shop's brand.

Frequently asked questions

How does SKUU keep shipping white-label with PostNL?
The label, packing slip and tracking notifications are generated in the selling shop's branding, even though a partner shop hands the parcel to PostNL. The customer never sees the name of the shop that shipped it.
Where does the customer's tracking link come from?
SKUU passes the PostNL tracking data back to the selling shop, which shares it with the customer through its own normal order emails. The experience is identical to an order shipped from the shop's own stock.
Do I need my own PostNL contract to join the network?
No. Each shop keeps shipping the way it ships today. SKUU works with the setup each fulfilling partner already has, so joining the network changes nothing about your carrier relationships.

Connect your stack.

Joining the network is configuration, not a project. Connect your systems, verify the matching, and let the network start recovering sales.
