SKUU × GLS integration

The SKUU GLS integration ships network orders through GLS with white-label labels and tracking, extending the network's delivery options across Europe.

How the connection sits

GLS
SKUUSKUU
Partner shops

SKUU sits in the middle as the neutral layer. GLS only ever exchanges data with SKUU, never directly with another shop.

GLS runs one of Europe's most reliable parcel networks, popular with retailers in the Benelux, Germany and Southern Europe. Within SKUU, GLS is one of the carrier routes a fulfilling shop can already have in place; the network simply uses what the shop uses.

SKUU's role is the branding and the data: white-label labels, tracking routed to the selling shop, and return flows that keep both partners' administrations correct. Available on request.

How connecting works

  1. 1

    Connect

GLS links to SKUU through the native connector or the SKUU Connect REST API. Nothing about your storefront, checkout or daily workflow changes.

  2. 2

    Match

Your catalogue is matched against the network on barcode and article code, and verified in a test mode before anything goes live.

  3. 3

    Route

From then on, out-of-stock sales can route to partners with stock, and partner sales can route to you. Every parcel ships white-label under the selling shop's brand.

Frequently asked questions

How does SKUU keep shipping white-label with GLS?
The label, packing slip and tracking notifications are generated in the selling shop's branding, even though a partner shop hands the parcel to GLS. The customer never sees the name of the shop that shipped it.
Where does the customer's tracking link come from?
SKUU passes the GLS tracking data back to the selling shop, which shares it with the customer through its own normal order emails. The experience is identical to an order shipped from the shop's own stock.
Do I need my own GLS contract to join the network?
No. Each shop keeps shipping the way it ships today. SKUU works with the setup each fulfilling partner already has, so joining the network changes nothing about your carrier relationships.

Connect your stack.

Joining the network is configuration, not a project. Connect your systems, verify the matching, and let the network start recovering sales.
