SKUU × Shopify integration

The SKUU Shopify integration connects a Shopify store to the SKUU inventory network, so sold-out products can be fulfilled from partner stock and partner shops can sell from yours — without replatforming.

How the connection sits

Shopify

Partner shops

SKUU sits in the middle as the neutral layer. Shopify only ever exchanges data with SKUU, never directly with another shop.

Shopify is where a large share of independent fashion and footwear shops run their store, and it is also where out-of-stock hurts most: the long tail of sizes and colourways is impossible for one shop to keep fully covered. SKUU connects to Shopify through the Admin API and webhooks, reading your catalogue and live stock and reacting the moment a variant sells out.

From that moment the network takes over. If a partner shop holds the same product, verified by barcode-level matching, the sale can still be captured and the order routes to that partner for white-label fulfilment. In the other direction, your Shopify stock quietly backs up partner shops, turning slow movers into orders you never had to advertise for. Your theme, checkout and customer relationship stay untouched.

How connecting works

  1. 1

    Connect

Shopify links to SKUU through the native connector or the SKUU Connect REST API. Nothing about your storefront, checkout or daily workflow changes.

  2. 2

    Match

Your catalogue is matched against the network on barcode and article code, and verified in a test mode before anything goes live.

  3. 3

    Route

From then on, out-of-stock sales can route to partners with stock, and partner sales can route to you. Every parcel ships white-label under the selling shop's brand.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to replatform to connect Shopify to SKUU?
No. SKUU plugs into your existing Shopify setup. Your storefront, checkout, pricing and customer relationship stay exactly as they are; SKUU only exchanges catalogue, stock and order data in the background.
What does SKUU sync with Shopify?
SKUU reads your product catalogue and live stock levels, and exchanges orders in both directions: a partner shop can fulfil your out-of-stock sale, and your stock can fulfil a sale for a partner shop. Shipment tracking flows back so the customer always hears from the brand they bought from.
Will my customer notice that an order was fulfilled through the SKUU network?
No. Fulfilment is white-label by rule, not by option. The parcel, packing slip and tracking updates all carry your shop's brand, and the customer relationship stays with you.

Connect your stack.

Joining the network is configuration, not a project. Connect your systems, verify the matching, and let the network start recovering sales.
