SKUU × Lightspeed integration

The SKUU Lightspeed integration connects Lightspeed eCom shops to the SKUU network, so the boutiques and local retailers that run on Lightspeed can sell beyond their own shelf.

How the connection sits

SKUU sits in the middle as the neutral layer. Lightspeed only ever exchanges data with SKUU, never directly with another shop.

Lightspeed is deeply rooted in Dutch and Belgian retail, often as the system that runs both the physical store and the webshop. For those retailers a stockout is doubly painful: the size that just sold in-store also disappears online. SKUU connects to Lightspeed eCom through its API, keeps catalogue and stock in sync, and reacts in real time when availability changes.

Because Lightspeed retailers are often exactly the multibrand shops SKUU was built for, the effect is direct: your out-of-stock sizes get backed up by partner shops across the network, and your shop window extends to customers you have never met, with every parcel shipped white-label under the selling shop's brand.

What syncs

  • Product catalogue
  • Live stock levels
  • Orders
  • Shipments & tracking
  • Returns

How connecting works

  1. 1

    Connect

Lightspeed links to SKUU through the native connector or the SKUU Connect REST API. Nothing about your storefront, checkout or daily workflow changes.

  2. 2

    Match

Your catalogue is matched against the network on barcode and article code, and verified in a test mode before anything goes live.

  3. 3

    Route

From then on, out-of-stock sales can route to partners with stock, and partner sales can route to you. Every parcel ships white-label under the selling shop's brand.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to replatform to connect Lightspeed to SKUU?
No. SKUU plugs into your existing Lightspeed setup. Your storefront, checkout, pricing and customer relationship stay exactly as they are; SKUU only exchanges catalogue, stock and order data in the background.
What does SKUU sync with Lightspeed?
SKUU reads your product catalogue and live stock levels, and exchanges orders in both directions: a partner shop can fulfil your out-of-stock sale, and your stock can fulfil a sale for a partner shop. Shipment tracking flows back so the customer always hears from the brand they bought from.
Will my customer notice that an order was fulfilled through the SKUU network?
No. Fulfilment is white-label by rule, not by option. The parcel, packing slip and tracking updates all carry your shop's brand, and the customer relationship stays with you.

Connect your stack.

Joining the network is configuration, not a project. Connect your systems, verify the matching, and let the network start recovering sales.
