The SKUU Magento integration connects Magento and Adobe Commerce stores to the SKUU inventory network, so larger multibrand assortments stay sellable even when individual sizes run out.

How the connection sits

SKUU sits in the middle as the neutral layer. Magento only ever exchanges data with SKUU, never directly with another shop.

Magento, and its enterprise successor Adobe Commerce, is the workhorse of larger multibrand retailers: deep assortments, multiple storefronts, complex pricing. Deep assortments also mean a long tail of variants that no buying plan can keep fully in stock. SKUU connects through Magento's REST API, syncing catalogue and stock continuously and injecting network orders as regular orders your team already knows how to process.

The network shelf model matters most at this scale. Partner stock that backs up your assortment is administered strictly apart from your own inventory, so your ERP-fed stock positions in Magento stay clean. Multi-store and multi-website setups are handled per storefront, so each shop decides for itself what the network may back up.

What syncs

  • Live stock levels
  • Orders
  • Shipments & tracking

How connecting works

  1. 1

    Connect

Magento links to SKUU through the native connector or the SKUU Connect REST API. Nothing about your storefront, checkout or daily workflow changes.

  2. 2

    Match

Your catalogue is matched against the network on barcode and article code, and verified in a test mode before anything goes live.

  3. 3

    Route

From then on, out-of-stock sales can route to partners with stock, and partner sales can route to you. Every parcel ships white-label under the selling shop's brand.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to replatform to connect Magento to SKUU?
No. SKUU plugs into your existing Magento setup. Your storefront, checkout, pricing and customer relationship stay exactly as they are; SKUU only exchanges catalogue, stock and order data in the background.
What does SKUU sync with Magento?
SKUU reads your product catalogue and live stock levels, and exchanges orders in both directions: a partner shop can fulfil your out-of-stock sale, and your stock can fulfil a sale for a partner shop. Shipment tracking flows back so the customer always hears from the brand they bought from.
Will my customer notice that an order was fulfilled through the SKUU network?
No. Fulfilment is white-label by rule, not by option. The parcel, packing slip and tracking updates all carry your shop's brand, and the customer relationship stays with you.

Connect your stack.

Joining the network is configuration, not a project. Connect your systems, verify the matching, and let the network start recovering sales.
