SKUU sits in the middle as the neutral layer. CSV & flat-file feeds only ever exchanges data with SKUU, never directly with another shop.

Some systems, especially older POS and ERP installations, cannot call APIs but can export files. Flat-file feeds close that gap: catalogue and stock as scheduled CSV exports, orders as structured files back, exchanged over SFTP.

File-based sync is less immediate than an API connection, so SKUU applies wider safety margins to file-fed availability to keep the network honest. It is a pragmatic on-ramp: many shops start on files and move to the API when their stack allows. In development.

    Connect

    CSV & flat-file feeds links to SKUU through the native connector or the SKUU Connect REST API. Nothing about your storefront, checkout or daily workflow changes.

    Match

    Your catalogue is matched against the network on barcode and article code, and verified in a test mode before anything goes live.

    Route

    From then on, out-of-stock sales can route to partners with stock, and partner sales can route to you. Every parcel ships white-label under the selling shop's brand.

Everything the native connectors do: publish your catalogue and stock, receive network orders, confirm shipments with tracking, and process returns. The native integrations are built on the same interface, so nothing is held back.
How long does a custom connection take?
Most teams have a test connection running in days, not months. The API is documented publicly, the onboarding team supplies a sandbox, and nothing routes to real customers until matching and order flow are verified end to end.
Is my data safe in a network of shops that may compete with me?
Partners never see your data. SKUU is the neutral layer in the middle: each shop only ever exchanges data with SKUU, and what other shops see is availability, never your stock levels, pricing or customers.
