Build the scrapers that read 40,000 webshops every day.
About the role
Every night our scrapers read the public product pages of 1,153 European webshops: every size, every price, every stock level. That is 21.5 million product variants. The goal is 40,000 shops, read every day, and you build the scrapers that get us there. You work directly with the founder. Speed, cost per shop and failure rate are your numbers to beat.
What you will do
- Build scrapers for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Shopware and shops with a stack of their own
- Make the nightly run faster and cheaper, without overloading a single shop
- Catch bad data at the gate, before it reaches the database
What we are looking for
- You once built something that collects data automatically, and you kept it running
- You know your way around JavaScript or TypeScript, HTTP and SQL
- You measure first, then optimise, and you like simple systems
This is not a practice project. The scrapers run live today, and their data goes into the out-of-stock reports we show to brands and retailers.
