A forward deployed engineer works where the software meets the customer. At SKUU that means the person who decides how the platform works is also the person who connects a retailer’s store to it.

Responsible for how SKUU gets built and shipped: real-time inventory sync, product matching, order routing, white-label handoff and settlement.

Connects every retailer and brand to the network. Works inside their existing stack, from the first store connection to the first live routed order.

Leads the company as CEO. Sets the direction, builds the partnerships with retailers and brands, and hires the team.
Started in multibrand retail.
Before SKUU, Djulan founded an online multibrand retail shop. Every week the same thing happened: a customer wanted a size or variant that was sold out, and left. The product existed, in another retailer’s warehouse or in a brand’s stockroom. Nothing connected the two in time to save the sale.
He looked for a tool that let independent shops back each other up, invisible to the customer and fair to the partner holding the stock. It did not exist, so in 2025 he founded SKUU in Amsterdam to build it.
That is also why he stays close to implementation. The problems SKUU solves are ones he first met as a retailer.
